That's it, slow and steady progress makes for a good detailed finish.....

BTW, do not mind us old timers.... I personally need a high rise recliner for a seat.....

That's a really lightweight. neat looking ladder. I haven't seen one like that before. What make/model, or is it custom?

Also, just want to mention that this thread has been great to read, thanks for sharing. I've been debating between a Superboat, Progression, Challenger, and Shadow for my next purchase, and I think this thread alone has convinced me that I want a Shadow.

I'm guessing you're running that on the Chain O' Lakes in northern IL? That will be a great time running it there

thanks man. Yep I live on the chain so mostly will be rippin around here. The ladder is by r&r designs. It’s a slide master jackplate and I bought them together but it looks like it was built for it because one side of the jack plate has a shorter bolt plate to leave room for the ladder mount. The ladder slides down and then you can fold it down again also. So it goes about 2 feet below the bottom of the boat when all the way down

Got MFD installed. Simrad go9 with a vesselview link. Also spent a few days and finished the side panels. 3/8” pvc board with 1/2” foam. I see why upholstery guys charge what they do haha.

Love your thread for this project. I just picked up a Scorpion 21 Offshore, an 89 that I will restore over the winter as well. Pretty much a splash of a Shadow, Progression, Superboat. One quick question..... are you installing the fuel tank with foam? I hate that product, sucks water like a sponge but wondering how to safely keep it intact.

    Thanks
    John

Managed to get a little done. I THINK I finally am done drilling holes. I took the time to epoxy coat any exposed core where I drilled wholes for cleats bilges etc. I want this thing to last and I’m not skipping any details. Also got the top coat on the floor interior epoxy. Gloss white. Sherwin williams macropoxy 646 and then their industrial enamel HS for a UV resistant top coat. Not cheap stuff but It’s worth it. Should be getting all my cables and steering in soon and seats. Also seadek down on the floor.
