1/2” on back and 5/8” on bottom of seat. Might do a layer of light glass on it to reduce flex a bit will test it out

The 5/8” ply bottom of bench still had too much flex between the stringers. So I opted for 1/2” sandwiches between 1708. Couple vent holes. Left a 2” strip glass free on perimeter for staples. Found a ton of pinholes I missed so I did a final glaze on the dash, and blocked one last time and then sprayed primer. Got it pretty

Some wet sanding and wax and grease remover and off to the races. Base laid down with some issues from dust nibs. Anyone that’s painted in a barn knows that frustration. After fixing that I was able to get 3 coats of clear on as I plan on wet sanding and buffing it.

Wet sanded everything with 2,000 and hit it with some cutting compound quickly to get an idea. Very pleased with how it turned out! Panel is pretty damn straight, and almost all orange peel is gone. Figuring out seat mounting as of now

That superboat in your Avatar.
Is the 300X a 25inch shaft?
How did it handle in the rough with so much motor above the Transom

Looking real good. Like the color. Reminds me of the "Boss" Mustang grabber blue.

Got all the wires finally pull up to the dash. Lotta zip ties later. Sea star pro hoses ran to the helm. All the wiring to the motor button up. Was able to route the wires for the jack plate through the rigging hose so there is zero holes drilled in transom besides rigging hose. Very clean setup. This pic shows the plate at full lift

Wiring turned out much nicer this time around. 90 percent of the boat is rigged now. Still waiting on upholstery and powder coat on the cleats and windshield bracket. Also waiting on second paddle switch for jackplate to come in. She’s almost ready to fire up just need to do fuel fill and vent
