MAY need to lower motor 20'' transom/ 15''2.4

need some ideas how to lower motor, dont want to cut transom. its a tunnel and cone might be too high when i get it flyin. im looking at a cmc55012 plate, but i cant get ah.p. rating pic show travel 2''up erom stock &2'' below stock. can i just reverse mount a 6'' jplate?i wont need to tilt for trailering. set-back brackets all raise motor, could i rotate them so motor drops?

Have never tried it , bolts holes need be changed , but seems like piece a steel is piece steel (aluminum) no matter how its bolted ???

The pattern will be bass~akwards. No big deal, there's more than enough meat on those plates to drill two or three patterns if you really wanted.
Accurate measurement's, a scribe, sharp center punch, and a transfer punch will make for a nice job of it ..
