Question 98 225 Pro Max Oil Injection Removal issue

    Hi,

    a. Got all the oil injection stuff out. When inserting the new plug kit feels as its free, I remember on previous set-ups you can feel when the pump gear gets blocked. I bought part #43453 and today did some google search and find there is a part#43453(T) is there a difference or superceeded? or this is it ?

    b. In the other hand I was looking were the bleed tubing is supposed to connect in the cylinder block but there is no valve exits??? or is it pluged in a different place???

New to PM engines appreciate your help .

    Thanks,

Yes that is correct part, for plugging oil drive. The bleed tubing you are talking about, is actually the pulse fitting, that pressurizes the oil tank in boat, to send oil to tank on motor. Remove all that And use 1/2 pipe plug to block off port, on bottom starboard of intake manifold. Use good 2 stroke oil, that I prefer to mix at 40 to 1. Or 1 pint at 5 gallons. For high RPM use.

    Hi Billybob,

Thanks for your response. When I trash oil injection stuff there should be an oil bleed tubbing between engine cilinders that I dont find exits (see pic)

Make sure there is an o-ring on the new plug. Bleed system has nothing to do with oil injection, leave it be.
