How to Organize STUFF inside a small speed boat for a day at the lake?????

We are finding it very difficult to pack things in the Viper once we add three people and sometimes a dog. We like to pull a knee board - and sometimes a tube. I've got the battery mounted up front, and it has the bucket front seats so hard to slide much past them and under the nose.

We've been looking on-line at various wet storage style things to hold ski rope, drinks, lotion, towels...whatever.

Anybody got some top tips for doing this best?

    Cool

If you're taking that much stuff - tow one of those foam floating pads behind and load it up! Tiki bar and all. You'd be the talk of the lake.

As appealing as that sounds....I'll pass! Actually, we don't have that much stuff. But dang...it gets cluttered real quick. A pack of water (beverages) towels, water shoes, life vests, fenders, clothes, phones, knee board, and misc things...and there is just nowhere to put it. Looks like the clown car doing the fire drill routine at a red light when we all get up to change position or toss a knee boarder out.

C'mon, one of you has to have some great gear storage tips. We like to put it in the lake with 12 gallons of fuel - and stay out until it is dry. In our lake that means cruising - (my son likes to drive it) - knee boarding - going fast, stopping and swimming, hanging on the shore with music, drinks, snacks...and what not. Nothing unusual. I have taken the tube out before, and it can easily be strapped to the nose.

I was thinkin some sort of over the seat back packs???? Maybe something more of a net so they can old wet stuff?

I saw some hang on the rail packs/bags but too big for a viper. No room for a traditional cooler. We have a soft side back for a cooler - but not optimal.

Best I've found are the polyester fabric trunk organizers. They come in a bazillion shapes and sizes and can tolerate some water. Many have straps or hooks so they can be tied down.

cool! I hadn't looked at ones like that - just found one here. https://www.amazon.com/TrunkCratePro.../dp/B077MC2WH3

But that may be a bit large, but could just be slid out of the way with everything in one place, and getting wet won't hurt.

Sounds like the problem is you're running a late model Viper that hasn't been re-cored. Do the core before someone gets hurt. Cut out the float boxes and then there's plenty of room for a soft cooler, miscellaneous doo-dads, etc under the gunnels...

Floor was replaced already - back to stock configuration. And, yes the sides are the huge foam blocks with carpet on them - that would be huge storage, but can't access due to the foam.
