    Talon 22

Maiden voyage on my new to me Talon 22 rigged with a 300x will be commin soon so thought I would put some feelers out on where to start with a prop. Guy I bought it from has a sister hull and many hours on it, we decided a 24p is a good place to start which should put me mid 80's easily (and that's good enough for now considering its my first modified tunnel). Im more puzzled as what to start with, a bravo, rev4, quad4, Promax, other popular 4 blade???? what have the other talon guys been running?

Talk to Todd Lamb. He can recommend the right prop.

i replied to you of facebook. dont waste you money on a 24. you need to be in the 30pitch range to get optimal preformance. buy the right prop to begin with and learn the boat. take your time. they are pretty easy to drive with 1 engine. i have the same setup and run a 30 bravo 1. will likely move up since i have 1.75 gears but i only have one ride on this new combo comming from a 250xs on this same hull. i also have a 28 promax for when i'm heavy but i can see it being on the small side once dialed in. good luck!.

you baught this boat from montreal, quebec right? i've seen it for sale. looked good!

I tried a bunch of different props on mine. My favorite all around prop was a labbed 31 Promax(with all vent holes open). The thru hubs or ot's do come on plane slower than the over hubs.

Call Dave Pally at Pallys Performance in Saskatoon. A 24 is way too small, Dave has a pile of experience and props.

Bought the boat in Saskatchewan, it came from Quebec prior to that. I believe he came to aquire this unit in a horse trade type deal then sat on it for about a year and then I came along.
