Looking for Merc 2.5 Hydraulic Steering
Just picked up a 225 I need hydraulic steering for. I don’t know anything about boats so I’m just learning as I go. I didn’t even know I needed hydraulic steering but my boss used to run boats and said it’s a good idea if I don’t want to die.
Just lmk if you have anything or know anyone that has anything. I’m all ears.

I don’t even know I can post pics, but just as a reference it looks like a 70s/80s ceebee. Right now it has single cable steering, and the only reason I’m not using it is because I was told using single cable is a death wish at high speeds..or any speed in general.

yeah that’s what I figured. I’ve never even driven a boat and so being the stupid 18 year old I am I picked up a fiberglass tub and a triple deuced 225. If I didn’t get word on better steering I would’ve probably killed myself with a busted cable. If you know anyone that may have some steering cheaper than the amazon **** or kits on Donovan send em my way. Thanks man.
