OMC: what year/model do I have?

    OMC v6 with carb# 433375 and Throttle Plate E339570.
No ID tag on the clamp bracket. Checked with BRP and they couldn't help with model. It's got the early 90's style air silencer. I've tried to match up on boats.net but not having any luck

Based on the pix’s, and if air box and powerpack are correct, it’s a 3.0 liter, ‘1988 - ‘1994 looper.

It may be a bit of a mish-mash. It has the very latest carb 3.0 block (late 90s, since it has the Pre-Ficht water outlet casting and US-EPA emissions sticker). It is highly unlikely that an original powerhead left the factory with that combination of early air box and latest block.

Gary’s response is very perceptive: “if airbox is correct”; since it has the post 1996 MWS-style powerhead wiring harness too I think the airbox and hence carbs too have been changed. I didn’t bother to look up your carb part numbers though.

What are the #s on the heads?
Like they said it's definitely from different motors.
The block is much newer than the wiring and the airbox.

Nothing wrong with that if right...

    Good catch. I missed that.

    Compression would be informative also.

90 and bellow would be I think ‘92 and prior.

95 and up would likely be ‘93 and up, finger port block.
    Which would be great.

PS, I hate those stupid air boxes!
