Just got home from running the stream. Sheriff's deputy at the ramp giving out notices to keep away from other boats and not to raft up. Another panic inducing move by our local govt. The use of paid officers to hand out leaflets is a waste of a valuable resource, and taxpayers money.

its like they want everyone to think if u get u automatically die , was just telling my wife I haven’t seen any interviews with people who have gotten over it,why wouldn’t u want to show the American people something positive all they want to show is the negative and keep everyone in fear. idk I don’t watch much news especially right now it’s all I’m about sick of this virus crap I hope the ruining of people’s jobs and lives was worth it

My sister in-law (large Drs office has half dozen Drs working for her)thinks her and most of her staff had if the middle of January/ February one of them came back from a cruise and most got sick and wasn't reg flu etc they couldn't figure out what it was...later find out all symptoms
Were the Wuhan virus none of them got overly sick and were better in less than 2 weeks. Age ranging from early 20s to 70s..
They are going thru gallons and gallons of sanitizers in every form no one has gotten sick since..
NOT TO say anything to make light of spreading this. Hell if I go out I take a mask with me just in case because the damn city scum are coming up here and are likely spreading it. They should have locked ny city down.

So far everything but the boat ramps are closed on Brookville lake. I have been out a couple of times this spring but its just a mud hole with all this rain.
They normally open the mooring field April 15th. My houseboat is on the dock in the water for the winter. I have already paid mooring fees for 2020 as have everyone else. As stated in this notice from our marina its up to the Governor of Indiana what happens on May First.
The way it works normally there is a small boat with a driver available 24-7 to shuttle folks to there boat.

The marina office will be closed until at least April 8, 2020, per Governor’s “Stay in Place Orders”. Please call us at (765) 458-6490 or e-mail us at quakertownmarina@gmail.com to initiate service work, book a mooring, or for any other questions you may have.
Other info:
1. We have just completed some minor repairs to our docks (replacing floats, etc.). Later this year we will be employing a private contractor to inspect “B” and “C” docks. We know of no problems at this time.
2. All DNR property offices are closed.
3. The lake is open.
4. Boat ramps, campgrounds are open.
5. Corps of Engineers managed properties (Tailwater areas) are closed.
6. All 2019 fishing licenses do not expire until May 22, 2020.
7. All State buoy fields (including ours) will open May 1, 2020, pending state approval.

Quakertown Marina is open but please remember group events are not allowed at this time and social distancing should be the order while at the marina. Quakertown Marina will continue to take the necessary steps to keep you and our employees safe yet allow for a much needed break from our crazy world. We are in this health battle together.
