    Mercury 200 Optimax - 20" Mid

This is a 1999 Mercury 200 optimax. I put the motor together, but couldn't get it to fire off. Then I lost interest and happened upon a good deal on something new. My optimax knowledge is extremely limited. The powerhead had good compression when I bought it but I can't make any guarantees on it. It is all there. I will add more pictures tonight. Just wanted to get the ad up

    20" Mid
    Bob's Machine Shop Solid Mounts
Trim Works (a bit rusty around the trim motor)
Chris Carson Marine cleaned all 12 injectors a few months back (air and fuel)

    Cowling is pretty beat up

Update: I go it running now. Same price

    $1500

Bump. I did end up getting it running. So this is a running motor now.

Found something else I would like to buy. So $1500 takes it

I just installed a brand new OEM compressor. No longer want to give it away. I'd sell for $2600

Motor has 550 hours. I got it scanned when the compressor was installed.

My apologies, I didn't catch that part when I read this thread.

Where do you live? I'm in Maryland and am interested in the motor if you still have it.

Do you still have this motor? I see that you got it running. Have you tested it out on the water?
