Beautiful! Always liked those hulls but didn’t think they ran that good.

A center console would be fun.
It will be low budget though, whatever it is.

Being a big time cuddy cabin guy I like the idea of the Velocity’s/Regals having a real cabin which would make it a Lake Erie weekender.
I seem to remember the Regals having the nicer cabins??

To Matt Green, I put tie bars on the Starliner I intended to put an 8 on. I built a 3.3 V-6 for it (450 lbs) and mounted it on 16” of set back and saw no transom deformation.
Hull was stock orher than that.
New owner did hang an 8 on it but it popped soon in (the one I’m buying) then bought and hung a new 300xs on and they are 500+.
    So far so good.

an OMC V8 is no longer heavy compared to the rest so it must go where all the other new engines are?

Not my boat, it was in the shop and needed to be water tested. Yes, they had a center pod but it was basically just there for structural purpose and I think the hull liked the single in the tunnel better than twins.

Instigator, I remembered this hull for sale a while back. They were good running bottoms from what I have heard.
