FREE - Outboard Service Manual Database

Hi Guys,
I wanted to leave this link with you. It is something I have been working on in some of my free time this winter. I have uploaded service manuals for a free reference for anyone that could benefit from them. I know not everything is on there but it's a start. Right now I have Mercury, and Suzuki manuals up and running (I know I am missing some Merc stuff). Yamaha will be my next project on this page.

I hope this helps someone here, I know a LOT of you are VERY knowledgeable people and know your way around these motors with your eyes closed, but I'm sure someone could use it somewhere.

*ALSO* - I need someone to help supply me with the Evinrude (particularly eTec), Honda, & Touhatsu manuals. So if you have access to these manuals in .pdf form I would LOVE to get my hands on them!

Yes! That is definitely a good one! I used to use that one quite a bit. It seems there's a few of the newer motors missing but it is quite complete.

aren't you worried about copy right infringement?? I think I would check into it before posting someone's copy right protected info on your site, just putting that out there, maybe its not a problem if you are doing it for free. But I think posting something is the same as publishing it. Just my 2 cents

^^What he said. Thanks for what your doing and all, but don't go getting yourself into trouble. Could be costly.

Thanks for the concern guys. I'm not too worried about it. There's lots of guys doing it online "for profit", which I'm sure is much more of a priority for them, and some of those sites have been up for a long time. If they ask, I guess I'll have to take it down, but for now use it as you please!

EDIT: It's also all material that I have sourced from various internet sources, the same as anyone else could. I'm not sure if that makes it any less copyright, but maybe it says something.

those others may be paying a free for the right to post or have permission from the holder of the copy rights. You are free to do what you want, just thought I would bring to your attention something you may not have thought of
