I'll take the mid, lower, exhaust tube, exhaust plates and motor bracket, etc. I remember that your asking price was moderate.
Right now, with "shelter in place" orders in MD, DC, VA and PA, I don't think that my boss (read wife) will let me travel to pick it up just yet...
but I'm working on her, as I think that a solo-drive to the country to pick up some boat parts is a healthy, outdoor activity that doesn't violate the rules.
If you can hold the parts for me, I *will* come get them. I'll be headed that way sometime soon for a drive-by pickup of some parts from my old friend @bullet123 as well.
I appreciate it if you can hold on to them for me. I think when my wife's not looking, I might sneak into her purse to take back my testicles, and then put 'em on and tell here how it's gonna be. (hehe!)... of course, I'll be sure to put them back before she notices they're gone. She keeps a close eye on them, and only allows me to wear them at truly critical times. Thanks Josh! You're a stand-up guy. I drove out there, called ahead, and he left the parts at the end of his driveway.
He tossed me a pair of rubber gloves from about 12 feet away, and I loaded everything up. (I PayPal'd the funds first).
The lower unit works just fine... just what I needed... and the other parts are good to have, plus, if I ever get my hands on a good 2.5L power head, I have everything I need to build a nice 200 HP.
I'm learning with these 30+ yr old motors, that it's good to have a backup if possible, that way, when your engine *does* break, and it will, you can swap to a working backup motor while you fix the broken one. :-)
Shout out to @bullet123 too. I didn't make the trip this time, but I think I'm all set -- assuming that this lower unit holds up, and I keep away from rocks! (hehe!) So far, so good. :-)
