first number is a "0", not an O... that number shows 1989 200 which that "powerhead" is not.. tha powerhead is pre '83, first generation block design...…

How to tell what size the power head is? Measure cylinder bore size? Do you know the bore size for a 200 vs 175 or 150? Thanks for the help bud

that powerhead was called a 225.. its a 2.4 (3 3/8" chrome bore).. jus a few things on tha outside that give it away but ya have lotsa years and lotsa $CASH$ under tha bridge ta know what ta look for.. way to many variations of tha V6 ta even start with "whats what list"..... for me anyway... especially when i'm at tha "I meet new friends everyday" stage of my life.

Good motors to build with the 7 petal front. Bore the chrome out, put mod vp oval port sleeves in it with a decent port job and they will make 250 pretty easy.

Runs good, compression is 115-120 on all cylinders. Was told it was a 1989 2.4 200, but you never know and couldn't find the serial number. Should push my Hydrostream Vector pretty good. Hope so anyways..
