I've tried both in a 24" on a 21' padded heavy boat, 1.62 sportmaster.
The Eagle 4 was pretty good. Spun to 5000 on holeshot, I had to feather the throttle a little. Top speed was good.
The Promax runs a little stiffer. It was one of the faster props for me but I hated the holeshot. I tried an exhaust ring, different PVS plugs, and different engine heights. Nothing worked. It would surge and then slip badly on breakover. Seems to be a common problem with the Promax. Once on plane, it was fantastic with lots of lift.
