So Force outboards started the jet pump deal and Mercury bought the rights?
Is that the story? English please
Except for wave runners I've stayed away from the jet market
Old friend 40 some years ago built a monster BB Chevy for his 26 ft Sleekcraft
That boat was a DOG so I've stayed away, but living where I do I want one for putting around the shallows around here.We have invented the world; WE see

You could buy jets and still can from the same company since forever for a wide variety of outboards.
The inboard mounted setup Force brought on in the early 90s late 80s I think just ended up part of the Merc takeout and the line expanded to the 175 V6, then all the way to recent 235-245 Opti in SeaDoo boats.
Put the L drive in the mix tooLast edited by FMP; 02-16-2020 at 10:19 PM.

These guys make the jet drives for pretty much every outboard OEM. I'm not sure who makes the jets for the SportJet units, maybe the same company was involved, who knows.
