Twin 350 verado how close can they be mounted ?

Looking for the closest engine center of twin 350 verados on a v hull , I know
mercury say 26” But that’s for full lock steering and different trim angle .

looking for what’s possible when keep them even

Not sure what advantage there is to mounting them close togetother. Problem is too close and props start banging into each other also. I have seen a few I/O boats that had that problem. I mean you still need to steer the boat right? Not sure why you ask about not caring about steering or trim. Also close togetother will be more difficult to dock the boat.

bor, call mercury racing. they can e-mail or fax you a spec sheet. or mount them together somehow off the boat & turn them.

My friend Nick has mounted them at 24-3/4” with no issues.
