    22 Activator Miami Drone Video

Edited some footage we got of the Activator in Miami. Hard to beat the Miami water and skyline, especially in the winter.

Great video and a great way to make it.

    Thx for sharing.
I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.

I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

nice video. yup, can't beat the winters here. i would venture to say though, that that video was not taken in the last couple days, as it has been very windy here, for the last few days anyway... thanx for sharing.

With the props I had on hand, seeing Mid 70s, Tempest 25 being fastest so far. Have a couple more to try in the next couple days. Should be mid to high 70s, keeping in mind this was built heavy on purpose. Rides unreal in rough water.

Some were heavier than others, I believe with 300 Mercs, guys were seeing Mid to high eighties. I know a guy on here had one with a 300 Yam running 88. His was lightened up,wider pad.

Question? Do you find that in the rough, coming in & out of the water, with the big 4-stroke, that it comes down harder, lands harder in other words...on the port side? Thus a harsher ride for the passenger, in that boat. Yes? No? (standard rotation gearcase)

Good question. Although this is a two stroke, it's not much lighter than a comparable 4 stroke. This boat is quite heavy and it is well balanced, so if it launches nicely, it flies even.

I have about 18" of set back, and the bow feels light with some props, but it's not. In moderate chop, it rides like a caddy.
