Wanted Hydrostream vasseret or Valero Bowrider
And yes I know they are the same thing lol. Looking for one that has been pulled apart and fixed. A few years back there was an all white boat only sold in Florida, don’t know if that was ever finished but something like that would be perfect.

I was talking with Austin about that boat, I really believe you got a good condition original boat. Im in PA and there was the 15 hour drive to pick it up and also I was worried that if it didn't store it perfect or I ran it a little too hard with that engine I would end up with issues in a few years....
That thing is awesome!!!! take care of her and enjoy it

Oh I fully plan on keeping it and in a year or two having the transom rebuilt. More than likely going to put a 200 Pro XS once I redo the transom. I love it. Nothing else on the river like it.

I got my hands on one 2 years ago that had been re-done. Great family cruising boat and still got her up to 87mph on gps with a stock 225 promax. Stay patient. Your rig is out there!

As long as the transom is not wet and compromised they are easily capable of handling a 200hp outboard.. heck, seen other's rigged and run with far more HP than that with no problems..
The only problems generally seen, is transoms and hull's that are compromised because of rotten transom wood, and rotten balsa coring since most were not sealed properly at the factory, and the idiots that have drilled holes or put screw's in without sealing them throughout the years..
*Only time I have seen some cracking, mainly in the splashwell area, is hull's that had extreme amounts of setback since that puts more stress on the transom..
**And absolutely, that outboard motor 2.5 liter series is by far my first choice for a light weight, reliable engine to run for go-fast hull's. The best thing is when it's time to freshen them up to use GOOD pistons as the factory pistons are junk- can't beat Vertex style Pro Marine pistons as they have more than proved themselves to be bulletproof.. but these motors are great, along with the 3.0 liter 2-stroke series outboards too...Last edited by Laseraddict; 02-15-2021 at 05:59 PM.
