I remember when outboard boats used to go around corners.

Ya it is impressive the speeds that are being seen now days! And racing is racing anyway you want to do it. But I feel that corners are the great equalizer and puts a driver in the position to make up for less equipment. Again its all good, not saying anything bad about drag racing or the folks that engineer these boats to do what they are doing! Glad to see that some sort of outboard racing is alive and growing! Just miss the circle jerks, and all the great battles I seen over my youth just my 2cents call me old school or old fool, your choice

Ya know I always felt that ifin ya gotz time to turn .. probably not going very fast ..
Wogi,
There are still roundy-round races. Most require the use of capsule boats to compete.
Right after they changed the rules for Jersey skiffs, I built a bunch of cages for a core group of local guys. I don't see guys with Alison's Mirage's or STV's lookin to go that route any time soon. So the only thing left is for them to do is go where they are welcomed ..

I guess i missed the 80s circle jerk oh.. wait I was only alive for 2 yrs
After being at the neighbors roundy round f1 capital of the world a few times over the years... then seeing some of the usual companies dissolved. Now seeing some OMontyC based platforms using that dyno. Hmmmm Kinda makes me feel like river dancing.
