There is a lot of variables involved in how bad blow out can get. Boat crab, how hard the boat is charging when it happens and how bad the prop breaks loose. I blew out at 109 in my stoker when I was jacking the motor up at the end trying to get to 110 and it was pretty violent. I blew out because of new gear case needing a blow out ring and it was nothing. Either way it gets your attention.

With my Eliminator Daytona 21, a pod tunnel, yah I about lost my lunch the first time it did it, but it was never too horrible. At high speed and trim the boat would always crab a little, and when it lost thrust and dropped the nose a little it would always jerk left enough to scare the hell out of me, but it never fully hooked. But this was in a big boat and running at 89.6, not 110. And literally the fastest it ever went was 89.6 as evidenced by the hold feature on the GPS after it blew out the first time and I collected my wits enough to check the GPS.
Per Rock:
"Once I bought my first Hydrostream boating changed forever for me."
Per my hero Instigator:
"I try not to let common sense interfere w/my boat buying decisions."

I've blown the Paramount out at 65 simply by over trimming. Nothing bad, kinda like a fat girl stumbling.
Recently, I blew the v21 out.Left it trimmed out,and got down on it.It gracefully set back down.I chastised myself for not paying better attention. Now the Allison ,when it hooked it ,it was wild ,scared the hell out of me.

My SS2000 would gently blow out with a Laser prop. Around 65 mph the revs would rise and the boat would slow down, straight and true. The first time I thought I'd spun a hub. I stopped, checked the prop, and did it again.
