225X Promax Cylinder Head O-Ring Orientation

The cylinder head O-Ring is not a typical 100% round ring. One side is diff from the other.

Which way does it go?

The Merc shop manual nor the part's illustration show.

It’s more of a triangular shape? If so the pointed side goes in the head. The flatter/wider side will rest against the deck of the cylinder

Yes, it is sort of triangle shaped. The narrower pointed side has a groove in it.
