if they retire and still wanna make some money, perhaps they can teach folks how to rebuild, maintain , and make owner's Mercury Racing 2 strokes running in tip-top shape

    Education today is big money...

Better yet a Youtube Channel devoted to How-To's on 2 stroke motors

in 5 years expand the YT channel to also cover 4 stroke beauties

Yep, afraid so. Diamond Marine is no more. The building was demolished and is probably by now replaced by a commercial building of some sort, and sold all their equipment and machinery, right before the COVID situation went into full meltdown.

...building was not demolished. still there. land & buildings too valuable these days in broward county. the red tape to change land & buildings is unimaginable due to codes, permitting, etc. building is currently going through a renovation though..."as-is". VERY desireable, east broward, small warehouse district area... values are through the roof.

Okay. Wasn’t sure if the new owner had flattened it completely, but someone sent me the picture below last August showing it gutted with the roof removed, so I assumed they had demolished it completely. Was a pretty sad sight for me to see, to be honest. I was there in December 2019 just before they started selling all the machinery.

...yeah, they can't change the footprint though. total renovation as is, is what investors are doing. the hoops you have to jump through to do anything more are cost prohibitive. like waiting 7 plus years for new plan approvals, are just the beginning... when these guys reroof & finish out the building, it will sell for three times what they paid for it three months later. they try to do these asap. thats whats going on, in the big city right now. will be going right by there manana. will give it a quick look.

...could be just about anything. was just by there. new owners tore off the roof, added about five tiers of block on the perimeter walls for additional building height. all new designed front entrance. new roof structure done & being re-stucco'ed. new everything else. almost finished. looks nothing like the old warehouse it was. just one of a hundred of these reno's & new monster buildings going up in east lauderdale right now.
