    280 with 260 electronics

I have a 280 that the rpm were increased to 9200. I am trying to do some mods that are worth it. I noticed that many people are changing the 280 electrical to 260. Do I would see some significant improvement by installing 260 electronics.

I will do some drag and roll race. Not top end. Just to know what will be the advantage and increase in performance.

Just to mention that I will not participate in any event, just do some random race when the right challenge is around.

With the right prop and setup you stand to gain almost 1000 rpms with the 260 electronics

Yes you can turn 10,000 with the right boat prop and setup but it makes no power up there
