    260 block

    SOLD

I have a 260 small bearing, 4 bolt main block with matching front, no welds or damage, other than it lost a circlip, it will need a new nic sleeve which are still available from Merc. the rest of the holes look great, but never had them checked. I would like to get $800 + shipping It's tucked away in the attic so if your serious I can get pics, but I think we all know what a 260 with a scratched cyl. looks like.

The very early 245/260's had issues, ONE of the fixes was to add 4 extra bolts to the cases to keep the crank from moving. This is one of the last sm. bearing motors made, I just wanted to be clear on the fact it's a later block.

14 vs 18 bolts I think it was holding the case together.
