NEWS FLASH!!!!
Yankee weather invades the "Promised Land"...Its about 50 degrees today and rainy. I guess I shouldn't be too upset since Jack does not have my boat ready anyway. I just felt the need to Gripe about something.

I’ve had the heat cranked all day to cure the gel I sprayed on my newly built motor bracket this morning.
Ugh
BTW, I think 48 days.I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.

We spent yesterday on the Suwannee earning us a terrible sunburn/windburn. The water was very high and full of floating logs. Tomorrow, Lord willing is a day on the St Mary's.
Life in Florida is really tough....

Hopefully the Marine Patrol lets us stay on the water tomorrow, the Stupid Spring Breakers forming herds on the Springs and sandbars has the Florida Govenor sizzling mad. He is sending out Posses' of LEO to stop the Covid19 zombies from spreading it even more. He does not want us to end up like New Orleans with the highest death percentage in the world. Many of them were probably at Mardi Gras and have now migrated here to carry on.

While we were anchored off a beautiful beach on the Florida side of the St Mary's River, we spread our boats about 20' apart. The Florida Fish and Game came by and warned us that our boats had to be 50' apart and no more than 10 persons per boat/6' social spacing. He was really nice and we immediately respaced our boats. I am just glad it was not the Georgia side LEO since they are the perfect image of Barney Fife and are driven to stretch every "perceived" infraction into the largest fine.
