    WH carbs on a 2.5 245

So I am trying to find a throttle cam for WH carbs on my 245. The original is for the pumper carbs and the roller on the bottom carb is in the complete wrong spot. When I got the powerhead the cam was upside down to make it work with the WH carbs, but this really messes up the timing and sync to the carbs. I was thinking a Bridgeport carb throttle cam may be the one to use. Anyone have this issue before and a solution? May end up making one.

I think the carb to carb linkage is what was with the WH carbs, but the cam is the 2.5 pumper carbs cam. I think a 2.4 200 and a 2.4 BP cam is the same?

Will keep that in mind. How much do ya want for it? Would ya send the metal linkage as well? I think the one I have on the 245 is way longer.

The cam does need to be flipped, but the WH roller will be no where close to where the pumper carbs would be. Maybe the pumper carbs roller would fit on a wh carb?

I'm wit tommy. the rod from a 2.5 is to small to fit in a 2.4 cam , so u will need 2.4 cam, rod ,and prolly throttle arm. The rod link from arm to cam is bigger on a 2.4
I have quite a bit of linkage stuff for 2fo if u need sumthin

Thanks guys. I have some 2.4 stuff to put on it and will see if I need the throttle arm as well. I think they had 2 different lengths linkage/threaded shaft, 6 inch and 4 1/2 inch. Will let ya know Merc 2.5 if I need anything.

Got the linkage all sorted out. Mercury wanted $60 bucks for this part. Could not find any cheap used ones so got the 2.99 round stock at home depot and made one. $60.00!!!!
