This is a used 1981 Mercury 225hp outboard engine with high performance lower unit.

MOTOR CAME OFF OF A 21FT CHECKMATE STARFLIGHT.


Motor is VERY Clean for being a 1981 motor.


Motor was used in freshwater.

Lower unit is a right hand rotation lower and just had a new water impeller installed.


perfect for bass boat or race boat.


Motor has high performance lower unit as shown in the picture. Motor has the upgraded trim unit. Top cowling is clamp shell style and was recently repainted and looks really good. Motor is a 8 out of 10.


Compression was taken and compression is between 120 -130 psi . We have pictures of the compression, if you want them, please email us.
