It has a 2.5L 200hp 20" on it with power 12" jack plate
Youll probably be up to a little over 60 as it is now with a 3 blade and it trimmed out, keep the skis on the dock and the heavy people off the bow

Nice job.
A "v-bottom" Vasseret is what started it for me ....

Found a problem.... had some time today to check it out and found an issue lol..... 5 years ago I crawled all over it and checked everything out but since then core has gotten soft but don't feel bad for me I bought it cheap enough it doesn't mater, question becomes do I fix it or do I part it out? how much does it cost to fix a core?
Good 2.0L mercury 150 Black Max
Good CMC Power Jack Plate 5.5"
Good hydraulic Steering (can't remember manufacturer at the moment)

Open bows are a bitch to do the core. You have to seperate the deck from the hull to get to the bow.

As I think about selling and buying another boat I find myself stuck on this model lol. I love the size of the boat, the tunnel haul design, and the open bow of the bowrider not so I can put 6 people in the boat but just for docking, anchoring, and to have more area to move about on it.

Hear ya !
Not trying to be an ass ... watched a "bruiser" Viking go by the dock at 80 MPH when I was in 4th grade ... begged my dad for years and then had a Vasseret V-bottom / 200 ProV Yamaha to play with. Go for it.

With that 150 I would just run it as is and keep an eye on the bottom. If you decide you want more power then recore.

I don't know now I may have jumped the gun I was hitting it again last night with a hammer and really hollow spot is towards the front of the pad and Ive read guys saying there is no core there, I started a new thread in Fiberglass and restore. I decided this weekend I'm going to pull the gas tank out so I get some kind of view down in there and even drill some holes around, If its unsafe bad I should be able to figure that out pretty fast.

Yea I was gonna say the core is probably ok in front because the water drains to the back but maybe not. If it's not bad in front, the rearward repair shouldnt be too hard
