280 powerhead

I am in the process of buying a complete 280 powerhead. My question is can i bolt this powerhead to my 225 promax exhaust plates/mid without a nightmare. Thank you

You will need a diffrent adapter

I agree with ya roadkill +1 , 280’s came with a 1 piece tuner adapter my advice is use what Mercury sent it with , you’ll be pleased with the outcome JMO ,
I build tons of these motors yearly in fact have 4 here now in the build-modify process !!
