The feds are investigating the driver assist. As I understand it most other OEMs have a check for driver attention and Tesla does not. I could be wrong.

It's possible that the safety features like automated emergency braking offset the idiots over relying on the automated driving. Good data will take a while.
The Telsa Model 3 did get very good scores in NCAP testing. NHTSA got miffed when Tesla claimed that made it the safest car ever. Only real world data can prove that claim, but the test scores are better than good.

Seems like if a tesla crashes into you, your dead?
Are they investigating why they are so strong so puts other road users at risk?
