Wait until Toyota releases their elec. assist Tundra. It will be the best of all worlds. I took an uber ride to dinner last week in the upper peninsula of michigan in a Prius that had 412K on it. I asked the guy how many battery packs he has put in being in the frozen tundra? none, lots of tires and brakes but the fuel that he has saved well exceeds those cost. He lived in Chicago as an uber operator while going to school at North Western and moved up to Houghton/Hancock to attend Michigan Tech. He said that he has several friends with over 300K on theirs and still run them everyday back in the city.

Funny that I made fun of them when they were released in the U.S. market and once again have proven how smart I'm not.
