Must be more than a few different ones. The one in the picture looks to be sitting flat on the table without a tuner. I don't think mine would stand like that, without falling over .. LOL

Yea really, if yours had the bosses it would be spot on..

Had this one many years ago and sold it someone on here. Unfortunately this is the only picture I can find.
I do remember clearly the tuner was exactly like in Chaz's picture.
I had a concern with these plates about the block drain holes below 5,6 in cold climate states not allowing the water to drain so never used it.
Lee Sanderson and I had a conversation about that because he had a motor in his shop with that plate and said it ran very well.
If I remember correctly mine also had 2 tabs/ears behind the front 2 powerhead studs that I removed and made straight.
Chaz, the one in Tim's picture may have been setup in a hole for that picture??? All the ones I ever saw had the tuner casted just in your picture. Yours also appears to have a large drain hole apposed to 2 smaller.
Not very knowledgeable on these but just what I can remember.....and my .2

Thanks Tony. That is what I am looking for. I think you are right about the pic being with the tuner hidden. I think they were all cast in but I also thought they all had the bosses! Just fyi the reason I need this one is the 1 off land and sea can I have will not accept a regular 1 piece tuner because of the reinforcement webbing around the tuner base does not allow it to sit flush in the can. So I thought before I modify my merc tuner to fit I would look for a L&S. And I need the bosses because it will be string steering.

Tim, I figured as much. Hope one comes up was hoping the guy I sold it to may have seen this!
I will say, anyone I have spoken to about these plates liked the way they performed.
That boss was only thick were the bolts went the rest was thinner if I remember correctly, not sure why it was casted that way.
Maybe Chaz being he is a talented welder/fabricator can fabricate something for his, looks nice and clean......
Chaz, how about a picture from the rear of the plate when you have a chance.
