Hasn't budged even with chains and gear puller. One last thing I think I'm going to try, based on some suggestions, are to drill out some of the rubber if I can, and pour a mix of ATF and acetone in there. If that does not work then cutting it will likely be.

If you have to cut it, cut all the way through the prop, rubber hub, and MOST of the way through the brass hub. Then split it with a chisel or air hammer. Better than cutting through the hub and touching the shaft with the grinder.

Don't know if you tried PB Blaster. Every stuck part I ever ran into was freed up with Blaster if you spray it where it needs to go and give it time to work.

I've tried PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, WD-40 Rust Release Penetrant. Each of them I let soak for days and re-applied numerous times. One of the problems is getting it into the right spots. Its obviously easy to get at the back of the prop but not the front.

Put as much pressure on the puller as humanly possible.... when the prop blades start to curl under the pressure, you're half way there. With the puller, you should be able to either pull the prop off the hub or off the shaft....

So for now I am soaking it with a 50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone. Will let that soak for another week or so, then try the puller again.

This is a spare LU, so time is not the issue as much as how much frustration I can endure.

My Merc guru here (lots of salt water) has cut a lot off, melt the rubber, all kind of ways and a lot of simple angle grinder off. But that Multi-Tool is the ticket!
