summer gas rvp is also bad for winter it doesn’t atomize well, and liquid gas doesn’t burn.

One technique is to prim the bulb till hard, lift the cold start to full twice and then to half, apply choke and crank.

My promax starts way better all the way down also. It starts up a little tilted but noticeably better the more level it is when cold. Ball hard choke on good plugs and good gas.

Fine motor the old inline,,,
If the motor hasent been started for a while, the gas have been evapurated from the carbs, leaving the oil back in them. and therefore the fuel seams to be more oil rich in the beginning. Also thinking that the power supply to the atarter can have influence on the start. when i had one it seams to throw the starter motor of and the starter had free spinn. and I would have to try 2-3 times until it started. But as sugested pump the ball hard and use the shoke until it starts. Other things can be the cause if it is some new problem that you experiensed. If it has an idle stabiliser box i would disconnect that for a start, as they are known to causes trouble. Mine ran and started with no problems after the first kinda cole start problems. I think that if it is beeing used frequently it is easy to start, an oppersit if it sits for long time between usage.

Starting fluid prolongs starter life. BUT! It shortens motor life a bunch. It washes all the oil off everything inside the motor. Just for a few seconds but that's all it takes.

Once u figure out the rhythm of starting wont b to bad. They love fuel keep primer very hard and warm up throttle close to full and dont let off choke til it hits. Pretty much what Capt said haha. Or carry a coke bottle of mixed fuel and give carbs a squirt. Like I said they really like fuel

Take Carbs Off. Cook them out. Go back with new Needles & Seats.New Bubble & Lines. Problem Solved

Even with fresh rebuild carbs are hard to start. If cold enough.

Rebuild if its its more then once during the day. If the block is warm in any way and it takes choke and warm/cold start/ push button style being engaged to start. Go after the carbs.

At 15f they can even die while running. Literally freezing (condensation) the fuel out of the air. That’s why it needs a good winter rvp. It helps keep the fuel in the air and useable.

I hate ate when I get it backwards it’s high rvp for winter
