would this make a great windshield for boat?

    .

Think of all the junkyards in the US

can we reuse the car windshield, cut it down and use on our boat?

What kind of boat are you thinking about?
    Family Lake boat or?
Think the one thing would be it's contour and making it match and would need to make a frame to match it but not that hard.. or cut it out of the middle to get a fairly flat piece?

Honestly this was my first thought..
I know it's tempered safety glass but running in 2'+ waves with heavy piece of second hand glass would make me nervous.... assuming you didn't mean on something like that or? But never shoot down stuff never know what you could come up with

And there are some cars could use as a mold to make a fairing ..lol would be different..

But like the idea of being able to reuse stuff (and free!! Is even better)as long as it's safe and hell plenty of it around .
Actually they aren't that expensive new depending on which one I know some are less than $100
