I don't know how they can say the fastest. Need a good boat and gearcase to test it.

I couldnt get the video to play so have a question. Whats the starting platform hp of that honda? I give huge props to the young man however that est 600 hp doesnt seem very realistic or everyone would be doing it. Est, 600 hp? That lil turbo and that honda cant possibly be 600 hp. And could that motor ever run that turbo reliably running in the 600 hp range in a high performance application?

I traded my 2.7 eco boost twin turbo f150 for the 3.5 eco boost twin turbo and I know these lil baby turbos can make power but my engine only makes 375 hp and 450 with a tune so that thing can make 600hp?

While I do find the story interesting, I also find it hard to believe.....one key factor is "estimated hp" I've met alot of people who also "estimate" their boats to be over 100mph.
As far as making reliable power, seven marine should not be the comparison as their motors have huge reliability issues. Not to sound too biased, but if mercury racing is only at 450hp...that's your comparable platform and goal

Oh so I can estimate.....my new motors are 380 a piece
    And hell a 100mph I estimate I do 130.. lol

If the motors started at 225 HP, my guess is 45 psi boost to almost triple the horsepower.

Project is impressive and got to give him credit for sure..

And we don't know I'm just asking
But Damn if it is 45 psi...how long will that last?

I take that back, maybe 35 psi. One atmosphere is 14.7 psi and that's the 225 baseline.

This 1.9 liter 4 cylinder Honda made 900hp at the wheels on gas. It ran 300mph at Bonneville in a streamliner. That is a 5 mile wide open run!

There's no way it's 600hp. There's no way the gearcase will hold up to that. There's no way they can afford the props to properly test it, they could barely even handle the

"Estimated to produce more than 600 horsepower"
The engine itself is more than capable of 600 hp..the author of the article not so much.

if that's a stock internal 225 there is NO WAY THAT TINY BAGEL SIZE TURBO ADDS 375 HP TO THAT ENGINE TO TOTAL 600 PLUS HP. Sorry I don't buy it.
