Omc tech question

Looking to do an exhaust mod to a couple of mids..
Will have an offshore snout
but only have one 88-91 looper mid other is cross flow?
Any one know if it makes a difference or should I cut out?
Or just keep looking (what I would really do unless I know for sure it doesn't matter
Amazingly I can't find another looper mid now had a few of them a few and let them go..
Have the ones on my boat but want to save those..
Only reason I cant figure it out is I don't have the other one in front of me just pics only have the looper one..

Looper 88-92 mid

Cross flow? Mid

Its just the top in back will probably get cut/drilled out anyway...not 100%sure

I've put many looper pheads on xflow mids...chop that stuff out of the way and stick the loop adapter on...good to go

Thanks thats what I thought and half remember using crossflow mids w looper heads but been so long I wasn't sure... And wanted to make sure before I did all the work..
Always had loopers mids around so no big deal but gave and sold all of them over the summer and forgot to keep one..
