And are you planning on jackplates etc or?
It's not that the boat can't handle the weight of the motors.
a 2" transom with correct knees and reinforce is plenty for a couple of 200 Merc 2 strokes..
4" thick doesn't make a difference how the boat will float and handle... actually just more weight
4" is way overkill anyway if you have multiple knees on the transom..
It's the fact that it will barely be above water if it is.
And guarantee the first time you come off plane you will flood the back of the boat.
But if you want an answer if you have 15" motors in the tunnels..20" your going to have to jack them all the way up now you have all that weight up there will make handling interesting...
20" motors behind the sponsons so you don't have to jack them to the sky and keep center if gravity lower..
Just wait till you try and turn even at 40 mph
I may be slow but im ahead of you. *hit's only ankle deep but you went in head first.

Hope he gets the message.+ the extra weight of fuel single wont run very long on 20gals let alone twins.

Or if he does it.. lots of pics and definitely videos of it in the water and some passes.. or people passing by..
(And not joking being An ass) if he can get it to work i want to see it... And like I said before be careful

But Up to him to spend all the time and money.
And putting a bunch more holes in the back of it.

I just put in a new transom on mine a few months ago its only in the center about 30 inches wide with two knees-factory.He would have to do the whole transom all the way across and there's really no room to put jack plates in the tunnels or even the sponsons it really is a very shallow boat.

Just made this 15inch mid cause the 20 inch sits so damn high on this haul.

    Yea not behind sponsons...
Was Thinking about the 21 ..after the pics he posted..

Meant to ask that .. figured he was going to make s bracket etc..
The one back when had a bracket made up with set back and and air bladder in it to keep it from sinking but was really useless he said even in a straight line was sketchy as hell at times

Sounds like great advice and I come off at times sounding harsh and some members above speak for more eloquently . We all want you to exceed but it would have ended badly and you have a great piece . Set it up well with a single and run it . Bored -blue print it and possibly notch the centre sponson is all I have read . The pic of the bull looks great .
