Could anyone please give me some advice on running twin outboards on a 19ft eliminator pickle fork can you have them center of the tunnel or do they need to be further apart the outboards are 200hp black max 20in leg any help would be much appreciated thanks

I am not sure I have ever seen that setup on a 19 - not saying it hasn' been done but not typical . You may be further off just putting the one on and keep the other for a spare . But I like your thinking of never enough power . They fly pretty good with just a single . I know that' not what you asked so hopefully someone else far more knowledgeable chimes in .I believe they weigh in at 250 or a tad more so 500 plus on the back is going to get sketchy walking back there to prime the fuel or such as far as staying afloat . Stick with one and get on the water - i think others are going to squash it but ....

If...you can avoid the authorities on your pond...most know 19s cant have twins. Drags the transom below the rub rail making for wash over. A 280 with 200 stickers should be enough to kill you. I ran 83 with a 200 json..but without hydro. Steering....well you know..can only turn the steering wheel one way.

Its been awhile but the one I remember with twins
Motors were mounted farther apart and It floated ok..
EDIT..
SHOULD HAVE PUT THE AIR BLADDER PART IN BOLD
just in case for the people who skim thru
It was strictly a flat water boat nothing more than maybe 8" to a 1' and they had air bladders in the set back and made a big difference didn't have to worry about walking back there or it getting swamped..it was definitely a handful
And pretty much a straight line boat..
Why not get a single motor 300 etc or get one worked to some serious HP ? And like mentioned different stickers
Where and how are you looking to use the boat?
AND IM NOT SAYING ITS GOOD IDEA JUST THAT IT WORKEDLast edited by mrichartz; 12-19-2019 at 02:57 AM.

Several years ago, someone had a post here with a 19' Liberator with twin 300XS's. As I remember, he crashed it first time out. Broke it in half.

Thanks I thought it was 21 was looking for the thread
I mean twin 200s isn't a good idea but twin 300 on 19(but it wasn't)
Might as well back up to the water and throw the motors in and put the boat in the water upside and save yourself the accident and pain.... lol
Edit or just drop the 300s in my yard
