Dash Mounted Anodized fuel shut off valve

I am hoping someone here can help me out. I am building a 12' jet boat and would like to add an anodized fuel shut off valve to the tilt/FWD,REV center console i am building. I cant find anything, any help or ideas on what I can do would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance you could find an electric solenoid of some sort, running hoses full of fuel up and back doesn't sound like such a great idear??

Are you really sure you want to run fuel lines forward that far in the boat? Any leaks forward could lead to a real disaster.

tank is mounted up front, I am building a tunnel for all the hoses, cables and wires to pass through. my plan was to incorporate the shut off in the control box i am building. I thought about an electric shut off but that is one more thing to break, manual is always better in my book.

The hull is a 89 Tide rider SOS Express, originally it had a 60 hp 2 cylinder 2 stroke mounted vertically, I am changing that to a 120 hp 3 cylinder mounted horizontally.

If you do go through with mounting this fuel valve, make sure it’s not too high, as your fuel pump will have to lift the fuel past the highest point in the system. I’ve gotten myself in trouble with this before, so I’m speaking from firsthand experience. The only way I diagnosed it was by putting a clear hose on it to see what was going on and fuel was lifting to within 4” of the valve. There wasn’t a primer bulb in the system and that made all the difference.
A problem is only a problem when viewed as a problem...

I sent you a message, looking for some more pictures. How does the hull handle? I see you have trim tabs on it, are they so you can balance the hull out while running alone? Any details you could give me would be great.

As you can see I filled all the holes in the dash, i am using the gauge readout from the jetski and need to purchase a new steering system. Also got the new motor mounts poured (seacast) and started to glass them in. Next the motor goes in so I can get the tunnel aligned, once thats done I can finish building the bumpout for the jet pump (also seacast). Then tear it all apart so I can paint it (gelcoat) inside and out.
