    Autolube disconnect on 98 merc 200 xri efi

    Hi g&g’s any body know og i should remove the Oil pump shaft when the autolube is disconnected.? Regards from Denmark 🙏

    Most usually do. I think you also need to plug the fitting into the block.

    with the kit, you will remove the pump, the remove the shaft behind the pump..... just so you know......

    The shaft has a helix on the end at the crank shaft.... been a while since I did one, but if you rotate the engine (don't remember which direction), it will walk out some then you can pull it out with needle nose pliers..
