It has been a while but when ever I think of a fast outboard I think about him.
There was only one Jon. I can still hear him tell me I an going to the finish line.
What if its not there?

I have a framed 8 x 10 of him testing the JonRude, at the Rumble, hanging in my shop.
Never forget BS’ing w/him about the infamous OMC plastic carburetors and their tuning challenges for racing.
He said, “Gary I may just put a 4 barrel Holley on it”.
And he was serious ��������I'd rather be competitive w/junk I built in my garage than win w/stuff I bought.
I refuse to allow common sense to interfere w/my boat buying decisions.
