    2.5 promax fuel rail o-rings

Anyone have any information on alternative o-rings that can be used when things are apart? Looks like I had some seeping going on from the 2 aluminum tubes that feed the fuel rail from the VST. Would also be nice to have info (part #’s)of the other o-rings involved when injectors are out for a cleaning.

You can also try Fuller Marine (Vnemous) on here or a local injector cleaning shop if you have one.

    Cody!
I strongly recommend to use fuel/ethanol/alcohol complaint. Best to locate an injector shop....JMPO!
Not to mention the PITA to disassemble a plenum to change a leaky silly O ring......SOB....

The real ones are usually green, brown or blue. And come in packs of 50 or 100 ..

    Mr. Tee,

Unfortunately, Mercury used a few different injectors and fuel rails over the years. I'm not familiar enough with the 2.5 Pro Max to know exactly what they used. It would be irresponsible of me to take a guess ...

If you know the stem diameter, depth and width of notch in the stem and rail I.D. then it's easy to pick from the chart ....

Lots of sellers on Flea-bay. Some of the shops run specials or sell overstocked items.

That is so very nice to NOT be irresponsible.......
Just a little bit of info.
PM injectors are the same pink tip as the 300X and the 300PM white tips are the same size just a color change.
If you know the correct pink tip size for the X it will save me work... ...and help us all.....

Chaz, I would be a bit concerned about buying them from fle-bay. I like to do these plenum 1 time! Certainly do not want to find out that the person on fle-bay sold me something that was round and rubber but not good..........for fuel.... I would prefer an injector vendor as a source.

If i remember correctly the injector o-rings that came in the Merc rebuild kit for My Bridgeport were blue.
