    As I heard it they purchased the entirety of Checkmate but will only be building the 2 top selling models to start. That makes perfect sense, you have to learn the tooling and ramp up production in an orderly manner.

    Maybe at some point we will see a new 2100 Pulsare with a 300R, that would be a legit 100mph boat.

    Or a 2400BRX with a 450R? that would be a very nice package, but kind of pricy.

    I had a 16 exciter with a Dave S inline 6 I beat the dog poop out of it even submarined it Boca Inlet and it kept running sold about 5 yrs ago and have seen on craiglist about 4 times best boat I ever had besides the rally sport. Rick

    Glad to hear, too many years of fun boats to become another extinct brand. Bought an Enticer new back in 85, after 2 seasons with a Johnson 140 "pooper", I switched to a 150 v6 Merc and boy did she wake up!!!!!
    Currently have a Pulse 185 with a 2.5L. I have spoken to Kip several times over the past couple years, anybody know if they are retaining any of the original personnel?
