Great work on the rebuild looks great.

just wondering how you wired up the fuel pump? Rebuilding mine at the moment and going to use a Bosch 044 pump and aeromotive reg but haven’t got to wiring you the pump yet. Also what did you set the fuel pressure too? I know spec is 36-39 did you aim for 39psi?

    thank you

Thanks Promaxin, man that's a thread in and of itself...literally. https://www.screamandfly.com/showthr...ay-Pump-Wiring

Which turned into a lot of advice on many different ways to do so. I ended up pretty much using the Jegs diagram supplied with the relay kit. I used the purple/violet wire after the key switch as my on/off power. I just incorporated a second kill switch connected to my original lanyard. I set my fuel pressure at 39 lbs. according to Brucato the paperwork included with my new ACU. Good luck, and feel free to ask questions anytime. There are a lot of great guys on here willing to help. I couldn't have done it without them! Take care!

So I have 10hrs run time on the new rebuild. She runs great, temp is right on, compression is 135 - 140 lbs. across the board. Seeing what you guys think about my piston wash and plugs. The thing that concerns me a bit is #1 seems to be building up more carbon. I read somewhere #1 may get a bit more oil, because the oil line to the upper main bearing dumps more oil into that cylinder. I cleaned the plugs @5 hrs. So they may not show as much deposits as they should. I have been running 25 to 1 Mercury 2-Stroke dino oil. I will start with the piston/plug from Cylinder #1 and go in order from there. I appreciate the input!

Got ya Merc,Thanks! I am sure there is a ton more wash than when the oil ratio is correct. Just trying to make sure there are no red flags from what I am seeing.
