Not bad looking at all, this bold move for Ford may be a hit. As far as sales in California, I wish them luck, many Kalifornions would not be caught dead in an American car.

By using the Mustang name they hope the new tech will be easier to swallow.

Just when you thought they had fired all the idiots at the propaganda dept at Ford, they do this sort of stupid stuff.... Been better off calling it a pinto, which is also a fine American painted horse. Could have marketed it as a horse of a different color. More for soccer moms and such with great economy and performance. Mustang owners will laugh and scoff, prospective buyers will be confused. A real stupid move that some bi-tri wo-man at Ford made.

The car looks pretty good to me, and I’m not a fan of high tech stuff. Any of you guys actually sat in a new Mustang lately? This low SUV looks much more comfortable while still putting out decent performance.

You actually see a surprising number of Camaros and Mustangs out there. Not to mention Teslas...__PRESENT

Think about it from the positive side: the rear lights and the Mustang horse logo do look like they came from a Mustang.

If you had spent more time around the local trailer parks, you would have known that putting a Camaro front-end on an El Camino is a quite popular mod.

I hear they made a Porsche SUV a while ago, by the way, and it was quite successful as far as I understand.__PRESENT

Nice looking SUV. The electric is a great addition. But naming it a Mustang is really nuts.

Too many doors to put the Mustang name plate on it, Dodge did it to the Charger.

That is bull**** and you know it. At least if you are going to make something up, at least make it believable!

So that is a 911 Porsche SUV? NO, it is not!!! They make at least two different size SUVs. And FYI they make 4 door sedan as well in several versions,__PRESENT smart ass!

I'm not making anything up. It is common enough that Google auto-suggests it. Now, why the h*ll anyone would do it is beyond me.

Porsche was a builder of sports cars. Now they build 2 SUVs and 2 luxury sedans, whereof 1 electric.

The Mustang's origin is as an Italian-inspired practical, spacious family car. The step to crossover is much smaller than what Porsche has done.

Look at these commercials from 1964:

Can't believe Ford would call that SUV a Mustang. Those that don't learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
