    Bravo 1 OC Prop.....

Looking for first hand experience with someone that has run or tested these props.

Mercury claims they are a completely different blade design than every other Bravo 1 with the shortest cut barrel and smallest diameter.

Cost is double any other Bravo 1.

if it runs anything like mine you'll need more then 4 holes. i have a labbed 30 bravo with 4 holes (not pvs) and from idle I pin the throttle and the motor revs up to about 2500-2800rpm and it stays there for a good 4-5 seconds before spooling up. after that everything's fine but getting on plane is unpleasant to say the least...im still deciding between adding 4 more holes to it or move to a overhub prop. not that much choice of overhub 15in dia. props

Bravo wheels have come along way in configuration and applications.
We ran the XS's on Frank's 25 Powerplay and I got to say they were very impressive all around with 3 of us in the boat, would be prop of choice for me for all around use. Good hole shot, mid range, up top and easy on LU's.
Actually thinking about getting a pair for my RS.

They put 8 PVS holes in the XS just for the 2 strokes and only 2 for the 4 strokes.

I have an interest in Why the Bravo1 OC is double the price of an XS and FS
They are the same casting with a smaller diameter and an added cup to the blade tips. And want to know who has tried one.

2.5, the OC is Labbed, and the FS/XS are not, they are Pro Finish
