Timing Instructions
Does anyone have timing instructions for procedure on how to time all 6 cyls. and mark the flywheel for 225 PM?

You will need to own or have access to a TDC indicator. Jay Smith sells a Pretty nice one. Remove all 6 spark plugs. Incert the TDC indicator in #1. Rotate flywheel clockwise till TDC is reached. Then Rotate flywheel counter clock wise .150 ths. Thats 25 degs or .006 ths per degree (.150/.006 = 25 deg). If you want to time at say 23 degs mark flywheel at .138 ths). Mark flywheel at timing pointer. Repeat on remaining 5 cylinders. Hook up a Timing light. With the timing arm locked all the way back to Full advance. Spin engine over timing each cylinder to determine which of the 6 cylinders is the most advanced. Its not always #1 could be any one of them. Time to desired Timing on the Advanced cylinder. If adjustment is needed loosen the 7/16 jam nut locking the Phillips head adjustment screw. Adjust by screwing in or out till desired timing is reached. Lock jam nut.
