WANTED: 225 or 280 promax with 15" mid

I'm looking for a clean 225 or 280 shorty alien cowl promax.

The newer, the better. I would prefer a 280 that is newer than 2003 since I remember reading that in 2003 they switched to top pin rings rather than side pin.

Please do not send me your 1996 promax that you through an alien cowl on. I want an actual alien cowl motor.

It must be a complete outboard with a 15" midsection.

I'm looking for the cleanest example... I would maybe be interested in a blown up one.

Not sure you have looked through the engine for sale section but ACE on here has a mint 15" 280!
You will be fine pressed to find a better seller.

Yep, a 2004 or 2005 280 SS. Not easy to come by these days.
